EYES WIDE OPEN was the theme of L'Oreal Professionel's latest Artist Foundation. Twice a year all the L'Oreal artist come together for a weekend of inspiration, creativity, and learning . This year it was held in beautiful San Diego and I was lucky enough to attend for 3 days.

During the 3 days I was able to learn all the exciting IT LOOKS for spring/summer color trends with our talented Celebrity Artist: Suzie Bond, Jason Backey, and Jennifer MacDougall . Balayage with the queen of balayage Nancy Braun, and got hand selected and trained for an amazing program called the Expert Network. The Expert Network is going to help change our industry by training new stylist to be the best they can be and give them expert knowledge to be a leader in there salons and our industry. Everything I was lucky enough to learn over the weekend I am excited to continue to share photos and my journey through Primp :-).

So what is Balayage you ask? Balayage is French and it means " to sweep" . Balayage is a freehand technique where color is applied by hand vs foiling . Modern, chic, and sexy are words I think best describe balayage. You will have that sun kissed dimensional hair you have always wanted. Come visit me at Calm a Salon and let me paint your hair!

If your looking for something with a little more edge then I also have some exciting news for you. HAIRCHALK. L'Oreal Professionel has done it again and came out with another new exciting product. Hairchalk is "makeup" for your hair! if you like to change it up a lot, or want to try something new with out commitment then this is just for you! My favorite shade from the new line is Coral its feminine and chic and can give you a splash of color where ever you like!
